The pinnacle of the Marchant rotary calculator line was the Single Keyboard Automatic (SKA) also known as the DeciMagic. The proportional gear mechanism and high cycle speeds of the standard Marchant were kept for this machine. A control register was added at the front of the keyboard to make this model, and its successor, the nearly identical Model SK, the only fully-automatic Marchant rotary calculators. This model featured automatic decimal point placement, which was facilitated by the single keyboard for all entries. Joseph Sinel. Los Alamos.
