This machine uses a mechanism unique to this manufacturer. This machine was built after Hamann was purchased by Smith-Corona-Marchant. It was sold in the USA as the 505 TenKeyMaster, but in Europe was simply known as the 505. It has an interesting means of determining the decimal point position in the result, achieved through the sliding levers between the displays. (Lange)
