Baltimore Museum of Art, Interactive Education Spaces

BMA Big Table Gallery with kids

Sometimes, the public finds contemporary art “unfriendly” or hard to understand. The BMA was opening a new contemporary wing and wanted to transform one of the galleries into a space to help give people skills to engage with contemporary art. Through a collaborative effort with the museum staff and local design studio Post Typography, I created two interactive galleries to help achieve this goal. In addition, we worked together on early-stage Strategic Planning for a large, interactive arts education gallery in another wing of the Museum.
